Former BBN housemate Bassey on life and times in the show

Former 2017 Big Brother Nigeria (BBN) contestant Bassey has touched  on his experiences in the house as he began his media rounds in an interview with Maria Okan and Olisa Adibua of Beat FM on March 28, 2017.

The reality show star was calm and did not have issues in the house compared to some other contestants. He was in good terms with virtually all the other housemates, most especially with Debbie-Rise.

Shedding more light on his relationship with Debbie, he said:

“My relationship with Debbie Rise is based on trust and mutual understanding and I respect her so much. And I like the fact that she’s a very creative person.

"She brought out a part of me I would probably not have brought out to the fullest and that she taught me how to play guitar in one week, so I respect that.”

He spoke further:

“I didn’t want to give in to the pressure of being emotionally involved with her because Big Brother is short-lived and then after the house, what happens?”

The aspiring also said that it wasn’t as if he did not find her attractive but that he did not want to be emotionally involved with a housemate in addition to the fact that he has a girlfriend outside the BBN house.

On who he thinks could win the show seeing as it is drawing to a close, he said:

“I’m hoping Debbie Rise wins but based on what I’ve heard from outside world, I think Efe and Bisola are on the rise.”
