Music stars gather in celebration of Dangote's 60th birthday

Billionaire industrialist Aliko Dangote celebrated his 60th birthday on Monday, April 10, 2017 and it was an exclusive evening of pure festivity with some of Nigeria’s biggest entertainers, media personalities and socialites in attendance.

His fellow investors and business men were also present as they teamed up to make it a befitting celebration for him.

Sony/ RCA star Davido was on ground to perform his latest hit song If. The event was anchored by seasoned radio and TV guy IK Osakioduwa.

The Okoye brothers Peter and Paul of P-Square were in attendance as well as legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt and Juju music icon King Sunny Ade.

Also, fellow businessman Femi Otedola was present.

Other media personalities spotted include Ifeoma Williams, Ruth Osime and Mo Abudu.

Born in Kano on April 10, 1957, Aliko Dangote read Business Studies at the Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt and then ventured into buying and selling afterwards.

He was always interested in business, starting off at a tender age while in secondary school. 

Today, Dangote is one of the most respected business men in the continent and one of the most influential Black investors in the world.

As chief executive and founder of the Dangote Group, he currently boasts of $12.5 billion as net worth.

His investments cover most of the West African nations including Nigeria of course, Ghana, Cameroun, Benin, Senegal, Togo and then South Africa and Ethiopia among others.
